LEPRA Eyecare intervention strives to create a society free from avoidable blindness through an inclusive approach, partnering with communities, government entities, and other key stakeholders to reach underserved and hard-to-access areas. I am immensely proud of the dedication and exemplary work demonstrated by our doctors, administrative staff, nurses, paramedics, program personnel, and support staff. MNC’s journey has been marked by a blend of challenges and triumphs, but through it all, our commitment to serving those in need has remained steadfast. Even during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, when many eye care institutions closed, MNC continued to provide essential services with the utmost care and precaution. MNC has brought transformative changes to eye care in Western Odisha, including being the first institution in the region to achieve NABH accreditation for quality services. Innovations such as contact lenses, low vision support, vision therapy, and modular operating theatre concepts, as well as DNB and NCVRT courses, fellowships, and hands-on training, are testaments to our pioneering spirit.
